About MeI have extensive experience as a Sound Recordist, Camera Operator/Assistant, working in both the broadcast and corporate sectors. I have worked across a variety of genres including Factual Documentary, Observational Docs, Promos, Current Affairs, Arts & Entertainment and Natural History.
I am familiar with all current recording formats including, HDCam, XDCam, Digibeta, DVCam and film and can work both in a studio and on location. Even though a lot of my work is as part of a PSC crew, I am equally comfortable working on large OB’s – both rigging and recording, as well as on multi-camera studio shoots.
As an operator I regularly shoot with HDV and DVCam cameras such as the Sony Z1 and DSR 450, covering camera sound, lighting and journalistic input too. This ranges from simple interview set ups, blue (or green) screen studio shoots, newsgathering and actuality.
I also hold a HSE Pro Scuba (Part IV) license with a valid medical, as well as a PADI Divemaster qualification. |
